The town of Wendell broke ground this week on a new public works facility that will equip the department with additional space for its administrative and maintenance needs.
The new facility, which is located at 411 Lake Glad Rd, has been in development for more than two years. It includes 7,800 square feet of office space and an 8,000 square foot garage for service and storage of town vehicles.
