DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. A 25-year-old man is dead after a shooting at a gas station along Wesley Chapel Road near Interstate 20 on Tuesday evening.

DeKalb County police officers responded to a reported shooting at the 2600 block of Wesley Chapel Road at 6:37 p.m. Upon their arrival, they discovered the victim in the parking lot with multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency medical services quickly transported him to a nearby hospital, but unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries. According to a police statement, “Initial information indicates he was involved in a dispute with others at the scene prior to the shooting.”
