SEATTLE – Another cold night ahead with a hard freeze forecast for Puget Sound as overnight lows drop into the 20s. Icy spots will be around in the morning, especially on bridges and overpasses. Use caution when driving early on Monday morning.
Snow levels will be dropping throughout the week. By Friday, they will be down around 1500–2000 feet with snow forecast in the mountains. By Saturday night, they will drop further to near 500 feet. This will bring a chance for a few flurries mixed with rain in some of our lowland locations. Only a minor dusting is expected, but we will monitor this as we get closer to next weekend.
