Linden Man & Philadelphia Man Charged For Gunning Down 2 Men, 1 Fatally

ELIZABETH, NJ.- On Monday, March 24, 2025, and Tuesday, March 25, 2025, a 27-year-old Linden, New Jersey, man, and a 20-year-old Philadelphia, Pennsylvania man were taken into custody and jailed after being charged in connection with a double shooting that occurred on July 7, 2024, in Elizabeth, New Jersey, that claimed the life of a 47-year-old Elizabeth man and injured another man.

According to Union County Prosecutor William A. Daniel, Stevens Charles-Pierre, 27, of Linden, and Brunel Thimotee, 20, of Philadelphia, were both formally charged with one count of first-degree Murder; first-degree Conspiracy to Commit Murder; second-degree Aggravated Assault; third-degree Receiving Stolen Property; fourth-degree Resisting Arrest; and additional weapons offenses in connection with the shooting death of Jose Aranzamendi, 47, of Elizabeth, New Jersey…
