Infant Swimming Resource brings life-saving lessons to Reno

RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – With colder months rolling in, it’s the perfect time to start swim lessons and get those skills acquired.

A new program being offered in the area, Infant Swimming Resource, is excited to roll out their services to the Reno community. Children from the ages of 6 months to 6 years are taught survival swim skills to ensure they can help themselves out of a potentially life-threatening situation.

“This is critical, we are surrounded by bodies of water and swimming is just part of the lifestyle here but yet access to swimming facilities has been challenging up until recently with the Moana Pool opening. So I was really passionate to bring this here because it wasn’t available when my children were young and it’s so important and I wanna be able to offer this to the youth of the Reno-Tahoe area moving forward,” shared Lynnette Bellin one of the Infant Swimming Resource (ISR) student instructors…
