Cherokee County, South Carolina – With a $150 million investment in its Gaffney manufacturing site, Nestlé USA has revealed ambitions to increase its activities in Cherokee County, further strengthening the economy of South Carolina. The move highlights the company’s ongoing dedication to the area, where it has been a pillar of the local economy for almost 45 years.
The Gaffney facility, located at 2132 Old Georgia Highway, has been operational since 1980. Along with this large investment, the factory will add modern automation and digital technology and open a new manufacturing line devoted to single-serve frozen meals. This modernization effort is aimed at meeting the growing consumer demand for Nestlé’s popular frozen meal brands, such as Stouffer’s.
