MAULDIN, S.C. (WSPA) – First responders in Mauldin are facing off against each other this weekend in a competition to raise money for local heroes.
The ‘Badge v. Badge’ event kicks off Saturday, October 26th from 10am-2pm at Mauldin High School. It’s where the Mauldin Police Department and Mauldin Fire Department are competing against each other in physical fitness challenges to raise money for veterans.
The first responders are expected to duke it out to see who can finish the most pushups, sit ups, deadlifts, ball throws and planks. The department that wins takes home a trophy for bragging rights…
