Crash causes gas leak, shuts down road in downtown Greenville, police say

GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – The Greenville Police Department said a crash shut down a road in downtown Greenville on Monday.

According to crews on scene, the crash took place at Pendleton Street between Traction Street and Saco Street around 8 a.m. and caused a gas leak. There were two cars that crashed and one of them hit the Anchorage building where there was a gas main.

Police report both drivers were taken to Greenville Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries…
