Injury Bug Catches Up With Valkyries

TIGERVILLE, S.C. – The Converse University women’s soccer team (8-6-3, 6-3-3 Conference Carolinas) again found themselves without several key players as they wrapped up the regular season by falling to the North Greenville Trailblazers (2-9-5, 2-7-3 Conference Carolinas) by a final score of 2-0. The Valkyries, despite the injuries, managed to outshoot the Trailblazers 8-5. Each team took three shots on goal. Sophomore goalkeeper Allie Nepomuceno played her first complete game of the season and recorded one save.
