GREENVILLE, S.C. — In northern Greenville, a farm with an old mill on site is home to a peculiar underground house known as the Sunken Manor. The Green family, who purchased the property last year, recounts eerie tales associated with the manor, challenging visitors to help solve the mystery.
The family said the house, built in the 1980s, resembles a doomsday bunker. They said local lore speaks of the original inhabitants mysteriously vanishing without a trace. The new owners said they have experienced odd happenings themselves.
