South Carolina parents react to no phones in school policy

BEAUFORT COUNTY, S.C. (WTOC) – A South Carolina Department of Education policy mandates elementary, middle, and high school students to stay off their phones at school.

Statewide, school districts were required to start implementing the policy in January, but it’s something the Beaufort County School District has been doing since the fall.
