SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane Mayor Lisa Brown will host a virtual townhall on Wednesday at 11 a.m. to discuss the “State of Community Safety.”
Mayor Brown is expected to touch on the results of the community safety tax proposal, findings of the CORE pilot program and the city’s efforts to address housing, healthcare and overall human services for those experiencing homelessness.
With the expected passage of the community safety sales tax and the end of the 30-day CORE pilot program, the town hall is an opportunity for the mayor to discuss the next steps…
