DeCarlo warns of ‘catastrophic, life-threatening storm surge’ in shore area

BROOKSVILLE – The county might not be in line for a direct hit but residents have to move now because of a potential storm surge of eight to 12 feet projected to hit Hernando County’s coastal areas.

“That is catastrophic, life-threatening storm surge, so please heed this information,” he said.
