NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – The man at the center of a standoff near Davidson County jail was taken into custody on Tuesday morning.
It began about 9:30 a.m. when officers with the Metro Nashville Police Department took notice of a man circling the Davidson County Detention Center numerous times in his vehicle. They approached the vehicle to ask the man what he was up to and asked him to exit the vehicle but he refused, according to MNPD.
