MISSOURI, USA — The marks of the nation’s worst hailstorm in history are still remembered by countless Missouri residents today.
The so-called “Tristate Hailstorm,” which was actually multiple separate storms along a single path, caused $1.5 billion of damages throughout Missouri on April 10, 2001, including 120,000 home insurance claims, 65,000 vehicle claims, and 8,000 commercial claims.
