ASHLAND — A highly contested A-C Central school board race saw seven newcomers vying four four open seats on Tuesday’s ballot. Three of them prevailed.
Incumbent Curtis Cosner retained his seat while newcomers Daniel Edge, Brian Rennecker and Kara B. Martin won the three remaining openings over incumbents Daniel A. Cuba and Vincent Todd Jokisch.
Cosner is an Ashland native and A-C Central High School graduate who said he wants to ensure transparent communication with the school and district partnerships; serve as an advocate for staff, administration and students; facilitate a balanced budget; and create opportunities for education and athletics for students…
