An early-morning fire Monday caused significant damage to the kitchen and storage facilities at Silver Branch Brewing’s Warrenton location on Beckham Street.
The Warrenton Volunteer Fire Company responded shortly before 5 a.m., finding flames at the rear of the building. While the dining areas remained unaffected, the fire left extensive damage in the storage area and caused smoke and water damage throughout the rest of the building, according to Assistant Fire Chief Scott Ross.
“There was pretty significant fire damage in the storage area of the building, and smoke and water damage throughout the rest,” Ross told FauquierNow. “The business will be closed for an undetermined amount of time.”
