FAIRFAX, Va. — Freshman Caitlin Frost registered a 17-point, 11-rebound double-double but it was not enough as the St. Bonaventure University women’s basketball team lost to George Mason, 83-63, Sunday afternoon at EagleBank Arena.
Frost finished the contest 7-for-13 from the field in 31 minutes. Zoe Shaw tallied 12 points for the Bonnies while Mackenzie Pettinelli chipped in 11 and Dani Haskell added 10.
“We talked a lot about continuing to fight and playing the right way, so I thought we improved on that,” Bonnies coach Jim Crowley said. “We just had a lot of breakdowns defensively. Give credit to George Mason. They are a good team and put a lot of pressure on you.”…
