WHITE PLAINS, Md. — A serious crash on St. Charles Parkway near Demarr Road Thursday evening left a man critically injured after his van overturned and trapped him beneath it.
The accident occurred November 21, 2024, at approximately 5:57 p.m. when a 911 caller reported that a vehicle had flipped from one side of the road to the other. Fire and rescue personnel arrived to find the van overturned and the sole occupant pinned beneath the wreckage.
Emergency responders worked swiftly, extricating the man within 20 minutes. Due to the severity of the victim’s injuries, a Maryland State Police Trooper 2 helicopter was pre-launched to expedite medical transport.
