Two Men Injured in Bronx Shooting Following Dispute Over Money

BRONX, N.Y. — Two men were shot in the early hours of Tuesday, August 13, 2024, following a verbal dispute over money in the Mott Haven neighborhood of the Bronx, according to police.

The incident occurred at approximately 3:22 a.m. in front of 561 Walton Avenue. During the altercation, two unidentified individuals opened fire, hitting a 26-year-old man multiple times in the legs and a 27-year-old man once in the leg. The suspects fled the scene on foot, heading eastbound on East 149th Street.

Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded quickly, transporting both victims to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln, where they were treated and are reported to be in stable condition…
