Weekend snow in NYC, NJ: Timeline, how much is expected and more

NEW YORK (PIX11) – A double whammy of rain and then snow is expected this weekend in New York and New Jersey.

Rain will start coming down around midday on Saturday and continue through the afternoon. Temperatures will be warmer, with highs in the mid-40s.

Then, on Sunday, snow is expected to make its way to the tri-state area. Flakes could start coming down as soon as 1 p.m.
