SALISBURY — Approximately 1,000 visitors of all ages enjoyed Trinity Living Center’s (TLC’s) Festival of Trees at the F&M Trolley Barn during the weekend of Dec. 6 through 8.
The free event featured 37 unique Christmas trees, decked out in themes ranging from a Mexican fiesta to railroad trains to Noah’s Ark. Thirty were sponsored by local organizations and businesses. Hundreds of visitors voted for their favorite tree, and first prize went to the Red Bud Garden Club. A tree decorated by the First United Methodist Preschool and sponsored by Property Pals took second prize; third prize went to a tree decorated by Salisbury Academy and sponsored by Franco Goodman.
“We are thrilled so many of our neighbors came out to enjoy the festivities. We’ll definitely do it again next year,” said TLC Executive Director Beth Huber. “The money we raised with our sponsors’ help will support TLC’s programs all year long.”…
