In Michigan, a tragic murder-suicide claimed the lives of a mother and son , as family members say the matriarch was suffering from mental health issues before she shot her special needs son, and then herself.
The incident began at around 8:22 a.m. on October 20, 2024. Warren officers were called to a residence on the 13000 block of Geoffrey, near 12 Mile and Schoenherr, following a 911 call about a domestic assault.
Shortly after the officers arrived, they heard multiple gunshots from inside the home. Officers entered the property and discovered that the woman had fatally shot Kris Knox, her 26-year-old special needs child , before turning the gun on herself.
