ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – Clouds will continue to increase across the area this evening. Expect morning temperatures to be a touch milder to kick start Thursday — most locations will wake up to the mid to upper 30s.
A wedge setup will dominate the forecast the next couple of days, which will cause temperatures to be a few degrees cooler. Afternoon highs will struggle to reach the lower 50s across parts of our area Thursday & Friday. Cloudy skies will dominate both days with rain chances increasing Friday. The best chance for rain Friday will be north/northwest of Atlanta Friday morning/afternoon. By evening scattered rain will migrate towards the metro.
