Man arrested after teen killed near north Stockton’s West Lane Plaza: police

A man whom police believe shot and killed a teenage near West Lane Plaza in March was arrested last week, the Stockton Police Department announced Monday.

The 23-year-old was arrested Sept. 26 by BART police, according to the statement. He was booked at the San Joaquin County Jail at 7:15 a.m. Tuesday, jail records show.

Around 9 a.m. on March 24, police allege, the 23-year-old shot and killed a 16-year-old in the 8100 block of Palisades Drive, a residential street off Hammer Lane, according to the statement…
