WATERBURY, Conn. (WNTH) — Two Waterbury men have been arrested on narcotics and firearm charges, police said.
On Tuesday, police were patrolling the area of Williow Street when they conducted a traffic stop. During the investigation, police seized around 21 grams of crack cocaine, 25 bags of heroin, 24 pills, 71 capsules containing crack cocaine, 8 grams of cocaine and a 9mm firearm, police said.
Julian Carey, 28, of Waterbury was charged with theft of a firearm, possession of cocaine ½ ounce or more freebase form, two counts of possession of narcotics with intent to sell, possession of hallucinogenic substance with intent to sell, criminal possession of pistol or revolver, criminal possession of firearm/ammunition, and other similar charges.
