CT Epilepsy Advocate Foundation holds blood drive to raise awareness of veterans healthcare needs

MILFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — The Connecticut Epilepsy Advocate Foundation hosted its 65th blood drive on Thursday in Milford.

Connecticut Blood Center’s annual blood drive could help hurricane victims

The event was to honor veterans and to bring in much-needed blood donations.

“It’s the honoring our veterans blood drive, it’s very important for the veterans to be recognized,” Bob Fiore, president of the CT Epilepsy Advocate Foundation, said. “These men and women served our country and they don’t get recognized so we figured by having the drive today that would be an important thing.”

The drive was completely booked and the next one will be held in December…
