As a significant winter storm approaches the Houston area, snow, sleet and ice are all becoming certainties as the temperatures decrease and conditions are forecasted to be more frosty than expected .
The NWS National Blend of Models snow forecast shows a lot of fluctuation in the wintry mix of precipitation outcomes—but confirms that as the storm develops, either snow, ice or a mixture of both is becoming increasingly likely in the region.
