Houston Court Sets $400K Bond for Suspect in Block Party Triple Homicide, Two Accomplices Await Extradition

A court in northeast Houston has set a bond at $400,000 for Javion Tyrus Noel, 21, one of the three men facing capital murder charges in connection with a fatal shooting at a block party last month. Noel’s appearance today was reported by KHOU 11, where Victor Jacobo was the only reporter present. In addition, the judge increased bonds on four unrelated firearms charges to $50,000 each. During the appearance, Noel acknowledged he understood the proceedings, speaking minimally.

The violent incident, which claimed the lives of Jarvis Faultry, 24, Breon Stuard, 23, and Marlon Jackson, 24, and left eight others wounded, has been attributed to Noel and two other suspects. Jakalyn Willis, 20, and Markielo Jamal Reynolds, 20, were identified by the Houston police as accomplices in the drive-by shooting that took place during a block party on Laura Koppe Road on Sept. 14. According to a FOX 26 Houston report, the suspects are alleged to have fired into the crowd from their vehicle before fleeing the scene.

All three suspects were already detained on separate charges at the time the accusations for the shooting were filed. Public records reveal that while Noel was held in Harris County Jail, Willis and Reynolds were incarcerated in Los Angeles.
