HOUSTON — A store clerk fought back against a man trying to rob the business near downtown in July.
The video above is from the store on Elgin at Ennis at around 3 a.m. on July 1. According to Houston police, the suspect walked up to the counter with a gun drawn and demanded money from the cash register. The store clerk tried to get the gun away from the suspect but was unable to.
Police said the suspect then gave up and took off running. It’s not clear how much money, if any, he got away with…
