CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – A Charleston carriage tour company is making a difference in the lives of children this year by offering free rides in exchange for holiday donations.
Palmetto Carriage Works will be offering free tours through downtown Charleston for anybody who brings an unwrapped toy for Toys for Tots from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. the Sunday after Thanksgiving. These free tours will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis.
“Toys for Tots has been bringing smiles to children’s faces for decades, and we’re honored to partner with them this holiday season,” Tommy Doyle, the general manager of Palmetto Carriage Works, said. “We’re excited to welcome the community to enjoy a carriage ride with us and help brighten the holidays for kids in our area.”…
