Family of Luigi Mangione, suspect in UnitedHealthcare CEO killing, has ties to Charleston

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – The family of Luigi Mangione, the 26-year-old accused of shooting and killing UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson in New York City, has ties to the Charleston area.

News 2 has confirmed that Mangione’s parents own a condominium in a building off East Bay Street called, The Cogswell Building, in the Printer’s Row community. It was purchased in 2014 for $820,000.
