On Saturday at 3:02 p.m. a lake wind advisory was issued by the NWS Charleston SC valid for Sunday between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m.
South winds 15 to 20 knots with gusts up to 30 knots and waves 1 to 2 feet expected on Lake Moultrie for Lake Moultrie from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.
“Strong winds and rough waves on Lake Moultrie will create hazardous conditions for small craft,” explains the NWS. “Boaters on Lake Moultrie should use extra caution since strong winds and rough waves can overturn small craft.”…
