Police: N. Charleston High Schooler arrested for pulling knife in fight

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – A high school student has been arrested after police say she admitted to pulling a pocketknife on another student during a fight.

In a report, North Charleston Police say they responded to North Charleston High School at 1087 East Montague Avenue just before 3 p.m. Tuesday in reference to a female student having a weapon and charging at a male student.

The female student, identified as 18-year-old Amina Ramzi Ahmed, was charged with first-degree assault and battery and carrying weapons on school property.

Police say they interviewed both the suspect and the victim, who had already been separated by staff before officers arrived…
