“So many people in need:” Summerville church reopens food pantry and clothing closet

SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCIV) — St. Paul’s Anglican Church of Summerville has been running a food pantry and clothing closet for over 12 years. With temperatures dropping in the Lowcountry as winter approaches, their mission has never been more clear.

“We have so many people in need right now,” said Jean O’Hara, leader of St. Paul’s clothing ministry. Many of those who visit the food pantry and clothing closet are homeless.

“We’re able to not only feed them but clothe them as well,” O’Hara said…
