A huge swath of California remains under a heat advisory Monday as temperatures remain persistently high along the coast and in the central valleys.
Hot conditions with temperatures reaching up to 103 degrees inland and 80 to lower 90 degrees along the San Francisco Bay and into the Central Coast are expected Monday, according to the National Weather Service.
The heat advisory remains in effect until 11 p.m. Monday.
