Camden park helps flag make it way back to late soldier’s father

CAMDEN — Earlier this month, Frank Bergin, one of the driving forces behind the village of Camden’s Freedom Park, received a letter with an important message.

Bergin is the volunteer director of the park, which was born of a desire to recognize soldiers from the area who gave their lives in the nation’s defense, including Army Spc. Blair D. Thompson.
