Quarterback Brady Cook shook off a first-quarter injury to help lead Missouri to a 21-17 win against Auburn.
Cook sustained an ankle injury on the Tigers’ opening series of the game and was taken to a local hospital during the contest to undergo an MRI. He not only returned to the stadium but re-entered the game late in the third quarter with his team down 17-3.
After returning to the field, Cook connected on a 72-yard pass to help set up a touchdown and authored a game-winning drive with under five minutes remaining as the Tigers improved to 5-1 on the season…
