Commissioners learn violent crime decreased last year in Tallahassee, aim to lower TLH tickets in 2025

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A visible sigh of relief for city commissions at a rare annual retreat after they were informed violent crime in Tallahassee fell 15% year over year.

During the meeting, Tallahassee Police Chief Lawrence Revell told commissioners that violent crime in the capital city decreased between fiscal years 2023 and 2024.
