Florida school bus driver arrested for ‘pulling boy’s hair and allowing him to be bullied and beaten’

A Florida school bus driver has been arrested after allegedly pulling a six-year-old boy’s hair and allowing him to be bullied .

Lazaro Treminio, 34, has been charged with child abuse and child neglect following separate incidents while he was working in M iami.

Treminio was taken into custody after he was said to have intervened in an altercation that allegedly broke out between the victim and his own daughter on November 20, CBS reported . Treminio had told the boy “never to touch his daughter” after it was claimed she tried to take on him and his sister in a fight. And during this incident, he allegedly pulled the boy’s hair.

  • Police said the altercation occurred during the afternoon near the 2400 block of Northwest Seventh Street. But the boy later informed them during his questioning that this was not the first time Treminio had been malicious towards him. He also claimed on previous occasions that the bus driver had ‘encouraged other children to bully him’, according to CBS. He recounted one incident where another child had pushed him to the ground on the bus and hit his head.

    The arrest report further added that the victim in the case was considered “very articulate” and was able to “differentiate between the truth and a lie” per Law & Crime . His older sister, who is ten, also corroborated his story with officers and said Treminio ordered her not to tell their parents what happened. She further confirmed that her brother had been bullied with the bus driver’s knowledge…
