Jacksonville (Fla.) Raines four-star offensive lineman Solomon Thomas is a little under a month away from approaching the one year mark on his commitment to the Florida State Seminoles. While that pledge has clearly been a longstanding one, he’s not exactly been completely solid in that decision at certain points during it. Earlier this year, Thomas took some trips to other schools, and kept lines of communication open with other coaches.
He came out of the summer looking more solid in his original pick, but after the recent firing of Alex Atkins, it’s caused Thomas to open the door again. He’s taken trips to Florida and LSU both in recent weeks, and is expected by in Tallahassee this weekend for their rivalry game against the Gators. As he weighs his options out, he’s been trying to figure out his next step, and deal with the process in the best way he can…
