Incumbent Leon County Commissioners Brian Welch and Carolyn Cummings have won their bids for reelection, meaning the commission dais will look the same for the next two years.
With all 26 precincts reporting as of 9:45 p.m., Welch, a social studies teacher at Chiles High School, won with 61%, according to the Leon County Supervisor of Elections Office. Challenger Isaac Montilla, a local chiropractor and entrepreneur, had 39%.
