Matt Gaetz won’t face charges in Orange or Seminole counties, law enforcement cites statute of limitations

ORLANDO, Fla. Matt Gaetz, a former Florida congressman, will likely not face any charges out of Central Florida following the allegations made in a congressional report released earlier this week.

The House Ethics Committee report, which spanned 37 pages, stated that Gaetz paid tens of thousands of dollars for sex and drugs and broke a number of state laws.

One incident reportedly took place at the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort in Orange County, where Gaetz is alleged to have paid a sex worker to provide “party favors.”
