Over the course of the last two weeks the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have tumbled all the way from having the No. 3 seed in the NFC playoff picture to being on the outside looking in. Two more tough games won’t make getting back into the mix any easier, and the way games went on Sunday didn’t to Tampa Bay many favors either.

The good news is there’s still plenty of season left, and it’s not like we haven’t seen the Bucs in a similar position before. Last year Tampa Bay fell into a 1-6 slump that nearly ruined its season, but Todd Bowles and company managed to turn things around in time to win the division.

It’s a much harder uphill battle this year, thanks in large part of the Atlanta Falcons being as good as advertised, but a bounce back isn’t impossible. We’re only in Week 9 and the Bucs can still pick themselves up off the mat, but based on how things went they’ll need to do it on their own for now…
