Patrol officers have taken a man into custody after finding him in possession of crack cocaine and a loaded handgun.
According to police, during the early morning hours on Sunday, units were called to the “Last Round Bar & Grill” in New Bedford for a fight in progress.
Upon arrival, it was learned that a male suspect had threatened the security staff with a firearm before fleeing the scene in a vehicle that he soon abandoned at the rear of the establishment.
