Lions DC Aaron Glenn a popular name in NFC team’s head coaching search

The Detroit Lions’ defense has been one of the most formidable units in the league this season, as the group is allowing just 19.9 points per game and 98.5 rushing yards per game , both ranking in the top ten. It’s remarkable that Detroit’s defense is still playing at a high level despite having 14 players on Injured Reserve , and defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn is the catalyst behind the unit’s success.

Glenn took over as the Lions defensive coordinator in 2021, as the 52-year-old has been an integral part of head coach Dan Campbell’s staff and the culture shift in Detroit. The former Texas A&M standout will likely garner some head coaching interest this offseason, and on Saturday, Glenn was linked to an NFC South team.
