CANDLES and the United Hebrew Congregation of Terre Haute hold a 175th anniversary celebration

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – CANDLES and the United Hebrew Congregation of Terre Haute thought that Sunday was a great time to do something to remind people of the significance of Hanukkah traditions.

United Hebrew Congregation President Scott Skillman said along with the Hanukkah celebrations they are celebrating 175 years of being in Terre Haute.

“We have been involved at all levels in the Terre Haute community, and we are happy to be here and do that,” said Skillman. “We are also happy to have the community come back and spend this time with us during this celebration.”
