1 dead in three-vehicle Lake County crash, County Road 42 shut down

LAKE COUNTY, Fla. The Florida Highway Patrol says one person has died in a three-vehicle crash that took place Wednesday morning in Lake County.

Troopers report the crash took place around 6:08 a.m. on County Road 42, east of State Road 19 in Altoona.

Preliminary evidence shows the crash involved a 2006 Chevy Cobalt, a 2019 Subaru WRX and a 2018 Ford F-150, officials state.
