DENVER (KDVR) — The Denver International Airport announced it has fully reopened the Pikes Peak shuttle lot . The lot had a series of partial closures over the past six months due to a construction project.
The lot was previously covered in asphalt but was replaced with concrete which spans over 70 acres. The newly paved area holds 9,000 parking spaces. During the partial closures, the lot was limited to 4,500 parking spaces.
Denver police will pull over these drivers in November

The Longs Peak lot remains open to customers but will close soon and will only be reopened for use when the Pikes Peak lot is at capacity during busy days.
“The improved Pikes Peak shuttle lot will allow us to accommodate even more drivers in advance of the end-of-year holiday travel rush,” said Mark Nagel, DEN senior vice president of parking and commercial transportation. “Returning to full capacity at our most cost-effective parking area improves our ability to provide our customers with a variety of parking options at DEN.”…
