Ventura County Parolee Arrested for Stabbing Man Near the Fillmore Historical Museum

January 8, 2025 – Ventura County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on January 6, 2025, a stabbing occurred near

the Fillmore Historical Museum located in the 300 block of Main Street in Fillmore. At about 9:00 P.M., a Hispanic male with two other male subjects confronted an adult male victim on the sidewalk near the Fillmore Historical Museum. During the confrontation, one of the suspects stabbed the victim with a sharp metal object. The three suspects fled on foot while the victim was able to call the police.

Fillmore Patrol personnel contacted the victim and initiated an investigation which led to identifying (S) Ivan Hernandez as the stabber. Hernandez is a documented criminal street gang member who is currently on active parole…
